The Heart Behind LRI
CEO and FounderAlex founded Lavender Ribbon Initiative after discovering that cancer is hereditary in his family. He cannot bare to think that one day, his two young sisters could one day develop this disease. While conducting his research on cancer, he stumbled upon the fact that pediatric cancer only receives 4% of federal cancer research funding. Driven by a desire to change this fact, he gathered a group of friends to help raise funds, donate items, and alleviate the journey by hosting activities with the patients in South Florida.
